First Wallet Setup Session
A supervised ninety-minute session where you leave with a working wallet, a paper backup, and a completed devnet transfer you can repeat at home.
Who this is for
Adults and older teens who want to use Solana but have never successfully completed wallet setup, or who installed an app previously without finishing seed phrase backup. No prior blockchain experience required — basic smartphone or laptop skills are enough.
What is included
- Pre-session email with app download links and what to bring (charged phone or laptop, glasses if needed)
- Choice of Phantom (mobile or browser) or Solflare (mobile or browser) — decided before you arrive
- Printed backup card and pen; guided phrase writing and verification read-back
- Switch to devnet and receive test SOL from the facilitator's demo wallet
- Send devnet SOL to another address (facilitator or your second device)
- Post-session email with links to glossary entries and the mainnet checklist article
What is excluded
- Mainnet transfers during the session — we discuss mainnet separately after devnet success
- Purchase of hardware wallets (we can point to guides only)
- Token or investment recommendations of any kind
- Recovery of wallets where the seed phrase was lost before the session
Session flow
- Arrival (10 min): Sign in, confirm wallet app choice, connect to library Wi-Fi if using a laptop
- Install & create (25 min): Download, create new wallet, pause at seed phrase screen until everyone reaches the same step
- Backup (25 min): Write phrase on card, read back, discuss storage at home (not photographed, not in cloud notes)
- Devnet practice (25 min): Switch network, receive test SOL, send to a second address, view confirmation on explorer
- Wrap-up (5 min): Questions, schedule optional follow-up, collect printed glossary sheet
Group bookings
Book 2–4 people under one reservation at ₩240,000 flat. Each person completes their own backup and devnet send. Groups larger than four require a second facilitator — contact us for availability.
Preparation
Charge your device. If using a laptop, bring it fully updated. Read our wallet comparison guide beforehand so you arrive with a preference. Do not create a wallet before the session — we start fresh together.
